Commercial mortgages: Buy the building your business works from.
For limited companies and partnerships of four or more partners. Whether you trade from the building or let it out, a commercial mortgage spreads the cost over many years, and we keep the valuer and solicitors moving.

Limited companies, and partnerships of four or more partners. We can’t arrange commercial mortgages for sole traders or partnerships of two or three partners: those count as regulated mortgages, which we’re not authorised to arrange.
Usually a deposit of at least 25% of the price, and sometimes more for specialist premises. On top of that you’ll pay valuation and legal fees. We’ll set out every cost before you commit.
Yes. The lender looks at the company’s accounts and usually asks the directors for a personal guarantee (your own promise to repay if the company can’t). Some owners buy through a separate property company instead, so check the structure with your accountant and we’ll arrange the finance to suit.
Longer than equipment finance, because the lender needs a valuation and there are solicitors on both sides. A straightforward purchase often takes a few weeks to a couple of months.
